Eaton is presenting the new generation of the Easy control relay series for the first time: The EasyE4 is intended to offer a solution for anyone who wants to implement control and regulation tasks with little effort - from building technology installers to automation specialists in mechanical engineering.
The basic device can be expanded to a maximum of 188 I/Os using up to eleven expansion modules. AC, DC, UC devices, analogue and digital extensions can be combined in mixed operation to implement different applications. The expansion modules are connected via the new Easy Connector on the front, which simplifies assembly and disassembly, according to the manufacturer.
With a total of 14 versions of the basic device and expansion modules, the number of variants has been reduced compared to the previous series, while the range of applications has been expanded at the same time. The EasyE4 can be connected to all standard LAN/WLAN routers, repeaters or dLans via the integrated Ethernet interface and can therefore also be networked with the IIoT. According to Eaton, the new version 7 of the Easy Soft programming software is intuitive to use and programming the EasyE4 is correspondingly simple. as
