Drive technology of the future

The drive as the heart of all production systems is the specialty of the Baumüller Group, which will be exhibiting its solutions at the VDMA central stand.

With drive and automation systems, the company supports machine manufacturers on their way to electrification, digitalization and more efficient processes.

The servomotors in the DSC2 series cover a speed range from 1,000 to 5,000 rpm. With a variety of encoder options, cooling variants, optional brakes, different gearbox variants and many other options, the DSC2 can be perfectly adapted to the requirements of the respective application. © Baumüller

At the trade fair stand, visitors will have the opportunity to find out more about the Baumüller motor portfolio, which aims to offer a suitable solution for special challenges with a wide range of variants. The highlight will be the compact DSC2 servo motors for applications that require a high torque density. This series is characterized by its low weight and compact dimensions. On the electronics side, the company will be presenting the b maXX 6000 generation of servo controllers, which have been specially developed for applications with high dynamic and precision requirements.

Directly integrated safety functions enable optimized evaluation of encoder signals and thus even better position and speed accuracy. Machine builders and operators benefit from shorter cycle times and higher productivity. The company's particular strength is Drive Intelligence - the integration of many functionalities directly into the servo controllers.
