hile the flagship FR-A800 with four load characteristics is generally designed for heavy-duty operation, the FR-F800 is aimed specifically at applications for fans and pumps. With regard to industrial networking, Mitsubishi Electric is equipping all new devices with an Ethernet on-board card. A new addition to the 800 series is the type series for industrial three-phase mains voltage 690 volts in addition to 400 and 200 volts. At higher voltages, the devices can operate with lower currents, which reduces the cable cross-sections. All large frequency inverters from Mitsubishi Electric - 75 to 630 kilowatts - have a compact design, which means they are ready for connection for simple control cabinet installation and standardized commissioning. The FR-A800-LC series with liquid cooling (Liquid Cooled) is currently available in sizes from 110 to 355 kilowatts; these inverters are suitable for tunneling and mining or heavy industry. The FR-A800 Plus series is equipped with firmware and pre-configured functions for special applications, such as crane applications and winding applications. pb
