Drives without installation effort
B&R is launching two new, compact motor-integrated drives on the market. The new devices in the Acoposmotor series facilitate the development of modular machines and systems. They also reduce installation effort and space requirements in the control cabinet.
The new motors cover a power range of up to 0.35 kilowatts and measure 60 by 90 millimetres in the smallest version. Despite the compact dimensions, a fully-fledged servo amplifier is integrated, which enables control loops with a minimum of 50 microseconds. The devices are also optionally available with an integrated gearbox attachment and integrated brake. The devices have two connections for hybrid cables, so only one cable is required to the control cabinet. The hybrid cable ensures the power supply and transmission of the Powerlink data. The new Acoposmotor variants operate over a voltage range of 24 to 60 volts DC. Due to the low voltage, no special training is required when replacing devices. It is also possible to feed braking energy back into the DC link. The motor-integrated drives have the STO safety function. It is controlled via the hybrid cable; no special wiring is required. as
