With its drive and automation systems, the company supports countless machine manufacturers on their successful path to electrification, digitalization and more efficient processes.

At the trade fair stand, visitors will have the opportunity to find out more about the Baumüller motor portfolio, which offers the right solution for special challenges with a particularly wide range of variants. The highlight will be the compact DSC2 servo motors for applications that require a particularly high torque density. This series is characterized by its low weight and minimal dimensions. On the electronics side, the company will be presenting the b maXX 6000 generation of servo controllers, which have been specially developed for applications with high dynamic and precision requirements. Directly integrated safety functions enable optimized evaluation of encoder signals and thus even better position and speed accuracy. Machine builders and operators benefit from shorter cycle times and higher productivity.

Faster with controller-integrated functionalities

A particular strength of the Baumüller Group is Drive Intelligence: the integration of numerous functionalities directly into the servo controllers. For example, the firmware already offers functions for machine protection, self-optimization or process improvement. Baumüller also offers software solutions for control, motion control and analysis that run directly on the drive. Control and regulation functionalities as well as motion control, which are directly integrated in the drive, enable highly dynamic processes in a fast controller cycle, further optimize accuracy and are a prerequisite for modular machines and systems. Baumüller's pre-programmed templates and machine modules contain a wide range of functions and software, thus saving time during development and shortening the time-to-market.
