Adjustment tasks in logistics

SEW-Eurodrive is expanding its portfolio with a variable speed drive system based on stepper motors.

It offers machine manufacturers a resource-saving implementation of adjustment axes with both open-loop and closed-loop control and was presented with a focus on format adjustment for industries such as food and logistics.

The system combines software and hardware components for efficient and resource-saving engineering of adjustment axes, tailored to the flexible and precise requirements of modern packaging and logistics processes. The portfolio consists of five different stepper motors in sizes Nema23 and Nema34, a stepper motor module that fits into the existing Movi PLC I/O system portfolio, as well as the necessary cabling and prefabricated software module.
