Weidmüller honored for outstanding employee environment
Weidmüller is once again one of the best employers for engineers in Germany in 2018. The Top Employers Institute honors the Detmold-based electrical engineering and automation specialist as Top Employer Germany Engineers 2018.
As part of the multi-stage analysis and review process, the Detmold-based family business achieved very good ratings and impressed the jury in the evaluation process. "Satisfied and committed employees who identify with our company are the basis for achieving our corporate goals," explains Frank Pellmann, Head of Human Resources Management Germany at Weidmüller. "We invest a lot in the working environment and working conditions of our employees to ensure that they can develop both professionally and personally. We are therefore all the more delighted to receive the award for the 10th time."
The electrical engineering company stood out particularly positively due to the continuous optimization of the working environment for its employees: "Our detailed investigation has shown that the Weidmüller Group has created an outstanding employee environment and is continuously working on optimizing this environment. This includes offering innovative secondary benefits, creating modern and flexible working conditions and effective performance management that is fully in line with the corporate culture," explains Steffen Neefe, Country Manager DACH of the Top Employers Institute. With its in-house academy, the company also has a facility that bundles professional training and development opportunities for its employees. "We invest in the future of our employees with a wide range of training opportunities - and therefore also in the future of our company," explains Pellmann.
Since 1991, the Top Employers Institute has been examining employers worldwide with outstanding HR management and strategy. The participants were assessed in terms of talent strategy, HR planning, onboarding, training and development, performance management, leadership development, career & succession planning, compensation & benefits and corporate culture. In order to strengthen the significance and value of the entire certification process, all results were also subjected to an independent external audit. kp
