Cables and wires for industrial automation
Heukabel offers system solutions for cable routing from a single source. The subsidiary EKD Systems specializes in tailor-made cable drag chains made of steel, stainless steel and plastic, which are used in moving machines and systems as well as in automation. This provides users with a cable portfolio of cost-optimized products. Sangel Systemtechnik, another Helukabel subsidiary, assembles the cables so that customers can obtain completely pre-assembled and ready-to-install assemblies.
Helukabel's Multispeed series offers special drag chain cables with tight bending radii and high abrasion resistance for extreme mechanical loads in cable drag chains. They are available with PVC, PUR and TPE sheaths, among others. A revised version with and without a shield will be on show for the first time at SPS. The portfolio for industrial automation includes the Roboflex series of data and control cables for highly dynamic and three-dimensional use on industrial robots. They reliably withstand tension, pressure, bending and torsion in equal measure. Roboflex recycle also scores points for its good oil resistance and outstanding resistance to welding beads. A range of data, network and bus cables is also available. To prevent interference with electromagnetic compatibility, earth straps, protective conductors and earthing blocks are also included in the range.
