All the more reason for Stefan Ziemba from IAI Industrieroboter to already know which trade fairs are firmly on his agenda for 2020: "Once again, we had many personal discussions with decision-makers from the region. We will of course be back next year." Companies exhibiting in Essen for the first time were also impressed. Thomas Schulte, Product Range Manager at Automation24, praised the relaxed atmosphere and the good customer contacts. Franco Polo, Area Sales Manager West at Balluff, also agrees: "all about automation has a very positive atmosphere, there were interesting technical discussions throughout."

The uniform look of the stand is one of the key elements of the concept. Michael Stinn, Consultant at Lachmann & Rink, explains: "The uniformity of the stands puts the focus back on content rather than budget-dependent show." At all about automation, there is a project focus in the discussions. Jens Hilger, Managing Director at Lucom, agrees: "The majority of trade fair visitors are experts and decision-makers looking for intelligent solutions." The trade fair is the central marketplace for engineering service providers based in NRW. This is also the case for Tilo Klein, Managing Director of automatic Klein: "Even with half of the trade fair contacts, our expectations would have been 100 percent fulfilled."
