Formnext 2025
Growth and internationality for the 10th anniversary
Despite a challenging political and economic environment, Formnext is experiencing solid and pleasing growth on its 10th anniversary: 533 companies from 34 countries have already registered for the trade fair by the beginning of March 2025.
"Formnext underlines the fact that it is indispensable for the AM industry even in very challenging times," says Sascha F. Wenzler, Vice President Formnext at organizer Mesago Messe Frankfurt. "The diversity of our existing and new exhibitors is proof that additive manufacturing offers excellent business opportunities for companies along the entire process chain," adds Petra Haarburger, President, Mesago Messe Frankfurt.
Among the exhibitors already registered are well-known additive manufacturing companies such as 3D Systems, Additive Industries, Alphacam, Arburg, Bambu Lab, BLT, Colibrium Additive, DMG Mori, DyeMansion, EOS, Evonik, Farsoon, Formlabs, HBD, Henkel, Höganäs, HP, KraussMaffei, Linde, Materialise, Meltio, Nikon SLM Solutions, Oerlikon, Polymaker, Prusa, Renishaw, Ricoh, Sandvik, Siemens, Sisma, SMS Group, Stratasys, Trumpf, Voxeljet and Xjet. However, numerous companies that have established themselves in other industrial sectors and see the annual double-digit growth in the additive manufacturing market as a very interesting sales market are also taking part. With products specially developed for 3D printing, these companies are also ensuring that the industry continues to drive forward its industrialization and growth.
Internationality and high satisfaction ratings
Of the exhibitors registered so far, 65 percent come from abroad. In addition to Germany, China and the USA, this year's partner country Spain as well as Italy, France and the UK are important exhibitor countries. The solid development of Formnext is also based on the positive response from exhibitors and visitors, according to the trade fair organizer: 88 percent of exhibitors were satisfied or extremely satisfied with their participation in Formnext 2024, according to the results of the customer survey after the last edition in 2024. Among the 34,404 visitors, this figure was as high as 96 percent.
Exciting new exhibitors show the dynamics of the AM world
Although there has often been talk of consolidation in the AM industry over the past 12 months, the new exhibitors in particular - companies that have not taken part in Formnext in previous years - illustrate the industry's continuous development and innovative strength. New exhibitors from 15 countries have already registered at this early stage of the year. In addition to numerous Western European countries and China, the USA, Korea, Romania and Turkey are also represented.
The new exhibitors cover various areas of the process chain: For example, the German companies Oscar PLT, Layer Performance, thyssenkrupp Materials Trading and REM Surface Engineering will be presenting solutions in the areas of AM systems, slicing software, materials and surface processing. Schunk Ingenieurkeramik specializes in the manufacture of ceramics. The range of component sizes is also diverse - for example through the Romanian dental laboratory Labvision-Dent or the Italian company MOI Composites, which produces 3D-printed boats.
From 18 to 21 November 2025, Frankfurt will once again become the global center for additive manufacturing and modern industrial production technologies. Companies interested in exhibiting at Formnext 2025 can register without obligation at www.formnext.com/aussteller.
