Formnext 2024 has got off to a successful start

Additive manufacturing offers interesting growth opportunities for users of this technology, even in economically challenging times. At Formnext 2024, exhibitors will once again be showcasing a wide range of applications and solutions for various industries. "With Formnext, we are offering every industrial company the chance to benefit from these opportunities - from getting started with additive manufacturing to optimizing the entire process chain," says Sascha F. Wenzler, Vice President Formnext, Mesago Messe Frankfurt.

At the trade fair, international companies from the AM industry will be presenting numerous world premieres, so that visitors can experience innovations along the entire process chain - from design, production and materials to post-processing and quality assurance.

The Formnext 2024 supporting program will feature new program items in addition to established events. With the new Formnext Awards, Formnext is putting the spotlight on exceptional talents and their ideas. The Formnext Awards will honor young innovative companies, sustainable business ideas, groundbreaking technologies and people who have made a special contribution to the AM industry in six different categories. For the first time, the public can also take part in the voting and cast their votes online for the respective finalists, who will also be presenting at Formnext, until Thursday, November 21, 2024 at 12:00 noon. All finalists and their submissions can also be viewed on the website. The winners will be announced during the award ceremony on Thursday, November 21, 2021 at 4:20 pm.

Another highlight of the supporting program is the "Service Provider Marketplace". Among other things, it will show how companies without their own AM production facilities can take advantage of this technology. The associated special show features exhibits from the medical technology, dental and packaging industries, among others.

This year's partner country of Formnext is Australia and will be presenting itself with a strong AM community, globally successful equipment manufacturers, service providers and highly specialized AM companies.

Formnext will also be complemented digitally this year. Those who are unable to come to Frankfurt can follow parts of the stage program in the livestream via LinkedIn and YouTube and watch it on the website after the trade fair.
