More sustainability in the workshop and production

Conventional cleaning agents and adhesives often contain aggressive solvents. But there is another way: the new Garant GreenPlus line focuses on the performance of the products as well as their impact on people and the environment. All Garant GreenPlus products are label-free in accordance with the CLP regulation. It is therefore not necessary to store the products in a hazardous materials warehouse or to train staff to handle them. This simplifies work processes, protects the environment and reduces costs for occupational safety measures, storage and disposal.

The Garant-GreenPlus cleaning series consists of high-performance products that cover the most common areas of application in workshops and production. The cleaners are water-based and, compared to conventional products, are VOC-free or have a greatly reduced VOC content. The three degreasers can be used, for example, as an alternative to flammable solvents, cold cleaners, brake cleaners and highly alkaline cleaners; the rust remover removes rust as well as limescale and mineral soiling; the stainless steel cleaner cleans and maintains surfaces. All products bear the NSF seal. This means that they have been tested by the independent international health care foundation NSF and are even approved for use in the food industry. In addition, there is a welding release agent with a cleaning effect for all common welding applications from MIG/MAG welding to laser cutting. Workpieces and welding accessories are protected during the machining process and the adhesion of welding spatter is effectively prevented. Immediately after the welding process, subsequent processes such as galvanizing or painting are possible without any problems.

Garant-GreenPlus adhesives include threadlockers, thread and surface sealants and joining adhesives. Anaerobic adhesives are often used to strengthen the sealing effect of a mechanically joined connection. The adhesive only hardens in the absence of oxygen (anaerobically). A label-free screw locking lacquer rounds off the range.
