User-independent measuring system
Keyence has designed systems for quality assurance and quality control for various applications. The IM-7030T digital measuring projector, for example, can check up to 99 features on up to 100 components simultaneously, according to the manufacturer.
In addition to an enlarged measuring range of 300 x 200 mm and a light sensor for concealed edges, it now also has a height measuring sensor. This means that dimensions in the Z-plane are no longer a problem for the fast and user-independent measuring system, according to the manufacturer. Thanks to a very low probing force, even very light, small objects can be measured with the light probe without the need for clamping. The IM model series can still be used close to production and delivers reliable results. sw
