Pöppelmann restructures management

Change in the management of plastics processor Pöppelmann: In future, Norbert Nobbe, Matthias Lesch and Henk Gövert (from September 1, 2019) will jointly steer the fortunes of Pöppelmann Holding as a management trio. The previous CEO Torsten Ratzmann is leaving Pöppelmann by mutual agreement. This was announced today by Ralf Hochhäusler, Chairman of the company's Advisory Board.

Norbert Nobbe from Holdorf (57) has been with Pöppelmann since 1988. The engineering graduate has been responsible for the company's production and technology as Managing Director since 2008.

With effect from May 1, 2019, the Advisory Board appointed Matthias Lesch (41) as Managing Director of Pöppelmann Holding. The Lohner started as a trainee at Pöppelmann in 2001, after which he worked for two years in the management of the Pöppelmann plant in the USA. He has been an authorized signatory since 2008 and is responsible for marketing, sales and innovation worldwide.

Henk Gövert (37) from Damme will take on his new role as Commercial Managing Director of Pöppelmann Holding on September 1, 2019. For him, this is also a return to his professional roots: the 37-year-old started at Pöppelmann in 2002 with a dual degree in industrial engineering. After successfully completing his studies, he spent two years as Commercial Director at Pöppelmann USA and three years as Commercial Director of Pöppelmann's FAMAC division.

The initially two and, from September 1, three managing directors will make their decisions on an equal footing and in close coordination with each other. The company has already had very good experience with this management model in the past.

The outgoing CEO Torsten Ratzmann came to Lohne in 2016 from the Harting Technology Group in Espelkamp. Catherin Vitale emphasizes: "The Advisory Board and shareholders would like to thank Mr. Ratzmann for his valuable work and impetus and wish him all the best and every success for his future career."
