Meusburger fully integrates PSG

The Austrian company Meusburger will fully integrate the hot runner and control technology specialist PSG, acquired in 2016, into the company in the course of 2020 and will operate jointly under the Meusburger corporate brand in future. PSG will remain a strong product brand.

In order to exploit synergies, the two independently operating companies Meusburger and PSG have been working very closely together since the takeover of the hot runner and control technology specialist in 2016. This has made it possible to grow together for customers and support them along the entire value chain. This collaboration is now being further intensified under the Meusburger brand. In this way, the expertise in the individual product divisions can be bundled even better and further developed for the customer. With PSG as a strong product brand in the areas of hot runner and control technology, Meusburger will become a full-service provider in mold and die making.

The approximately 21,000 customers worldwide also benefit directly from the integration of PSG into the Meusburger brand. All customer needs are covered by one corporate brand and customers receive all information faster and from a single source. "The sales teams of the two companies are merging into one large team with highly qualified product experts in the background. This allows us to focus even more specifically on each individual customer and their needs," says Meusburger Managing Director Guntram Meusburger.

The two PSG sites in Viernheim and Seckach will remain in Germany. The development and design of hot runner products will continue to be driven forward in Viernheim in the coming years. In addition, Viernheim is and will remain the competence center in terms of service. In Seckach, the employees will continue to concentrate on development and production in the field of control technology. All business and services in the areas of hot runner and control technology will continue to be carried out under Meusburger, and all terms and conditions as well as sales and delivery conditions will remain unchanged.
