Machine hoses

Machine hoses for laboratory and operation

RCT offers machine hoses without liners. The differences between the hoses lie in their chemical resistance and material properties, which are expressed in their Shore hardness. The range of machine hoses includes Viton hoses, also known as FPM/FKM hoses, which are ideal hose lines due to their Shore hardness A 75°. The hoses are virtually gas-tight, flexible and of high strength.

Machine hoses

Perbunan hoses and nitrile rubber hoses are highly abrasion-resistant and resistant to fuels, vegetable oils, acids and alkalis. NBR hoses are characterized by Shore hardness A 70° in accordance with DIN 53505. They can be used for working temperatures from -20 to 100 °C. EPDM hoses are also considered machine hoses. However, they are relatively soft, which is confirmed by their Shore hardness A 60°. The working temperature range is between -35 and 120 °C. The hoses are characterized by excellent resistance to acids and alkalis, but are also resistant to hot water and frost protection. The temperature range here is -35 to 120 °C. Silicone hoses and EPDM/PP hoses (Santoprene hoses) that are FDA and BfR compliant are used as machine hoses in the pharmaceutical sector. am
