For Würth, this form of cooperation is the first of its kind: "The clear B2B orientation of the Conrad Sourcing Platform and its focus on technical requirements are an ideal fit for us and our product range. We have therefore decided to appear as a seller on an online marketplace for the first time via conrad.de and to offer our products via this channel in direct sales," explains Richard Clasen, Head of E-Business & Digital Ecosystem at Würth.

From fastening technology to tools and protective equipment

Würth's product range, which is specially tailored to Conrad customers and available on conrad.de, extends from fastening technology (screws, dowels, nails, threaded parts, bolts & nuts) to tools (hand tools, power tools, work clothing & work safety), chemical-technical products (adhesives, sealants, lubricants) and technology for technical operating requirements (storage technology & office supplies) through to articles from the electrical engineering and electronics product areas. Conrad customers also have comprehensive access to personal protective equipment (PPE) from the Würth Modyf range.

Sales partnership brings benefits for all sides

"We are proud that Würth has chosen us as a partner and that our customers will be able to cover an even larger part of their technical needs smoothly from a single source in the future," says Conrad CEO Ralf Bühler about the cooperation. The connection of the Würth product range to the Conrad Marketplace is a forward-looking step that offers numerous advantages for both sides and, of course, for purchasing companies: The expanded product portfolio enables business customers to have an even greater choice and optimize their procurement processes by being able to cover their technical needs smoothly from a single source. By bundling and accessing a specially tailored range from the market leader in assembly and fastening materials, companies save time and resources to make their procurement even more efficient.
