The German economy continues to drive forward the use of artificial intelligence. Currently, 40.9% of companies use AI in their business processes. This is a significant increase on the previous year's figure of 27%. A further 18.9% are planning to launch AI in the coming months.

Automated thermal imaging cameras are often suitable for quality control applications where temperature plays a role. However, while there are various solutions on the market for slow processes, it is challenging to select a camera that reliably detects every defective product in a high-speed application in an automated production plant.
Safe and economical handling processes
In Munich, IEF-Werner is presenting its gantry system with the toothed belt axis module 115/25, which can be used to safely handle trays or small load carriers weighing up to 40 kg.

Schmalz is presenting new gripping systems and vacuum generators at Automatica. Exoskeletons, which allow employees to move heavy workpieces effortlessly, will also be on display.

Robots have significantly advanced the industry in recent years - for example in terms of efficiency, reducing the workload of employees and the precise execution of monotonous tasks. The use of artificial intelligence is now taking the performance of robots to a new level.
At Automatica, Weiss will be focusing on linear workpiece transport. With the automation specialist's linear transfer systems, a large number of process stations can be accommodated in a very small space.

Automatica 2025 in Munich takes place from June 24 to 27 and offers a wide range of solutions and applications for industrial automation, robotics and quality assurance.
