System with integrated CAQ modules
In order to strengthen the software foundations in quality and production management for international expansion, Hexagon xperion, a manufacturer of high-pressure vessels for compressed gases, decided to introduce a manufacturing execution system with integrated CAQ modules.
The aim was to create an automated 100% traceability system based on an integrated knowledge platform. In addition, the integration of the existing ERP system IFS played an important role in the requirements catalog. After an intensive evaluation phase, the MES from Carl Zeiss MES Solutions was chosen. The decision was based on the functional strength of the application as well as the technical and industry expertise of Zeiss Guardus.
