Digital service platform for the entire product life cycle
The Industrial Service Platform easyConnect will bundle all digital services related to Weidmüller products in the future. EasyConnect offers a holistic and modular solution for numerous applications - from planning and installation to the operation of devices, machines and systems.
easyConnect - The platform for planning, installation and operation
easyConnect simplifies all key steps for the user - from planning and installation to operating a machine. Configurators are available in easyConnect for the planning phase, with which the hardware can be configured according to the requirements of the machine. This means that easyConnect will replace the Weidmüller Configurator (WMC) in the future. This had to be installed by users first. easyConnect makes the configuration service web-enabled and enables access via the cloud.
EasyConnect also offers decisive advantages in the installation phase. The platform simplifies the handling of software on the device: device configuration and parameterization, which could previously only be carried out on the machine itself, can in future be created in easyConnect and distributed to all devices via the rollout management service from the cloud. Thanks to the close connection to the u-OS operating system, apps can be easily integrated on Weidmüller devices.
During operation, users benefit from data visualization, remote maintenance and analytics services. For example, AutoML (Automated Machine Learning) creates intelligent analysis models. This means that in-depth programming knowledge is no longer required for anomaly detection and predictive maintenance.
Users remain flexible with easyConnect. They decide for themselves which easyConnect functions they want to use and to what extent. Depending on requirements, functions can easily be added via license management.
Ongoing further development of the Industrial Service Platform
All of these services are gradually being integrated into the platform. Weidmüller is in constant communication with customers. Based on their feedback, Weidmüller continues to expand easyConnect and ensures that the best possible platform is developed for the user. In addition to the configuration of device connectors and DIN rail-based components, automation products will also be configurable in easyConnect in the future.
