Eric Verniaut becomes new CEO at proAlpha
Eric Verniaut will become the new CEO of the proAlpha Group on February 1, 2020. He succeeds Friedrich Neumeyer, who is leaving the management of proAlpha.
Verniaut will be responsible for the further development and international growth of proAlpha, together with the management team consisting of Patrick Klein (Chief Financial Officer), Nicolás Steib (Chief Operating Officer), Andree Stachowski (Chief Sales Officer), Gunnar Schug (Chief Technology Officer) and Michael Finkler (Business Development).
In the past, Eric Verniaut has held various international management positions, most recently at Blue Prism in the UK. Prior to that, he worked for SAP for eight years in various management roles in sales and consulting, including Head of Innovation Sales and Executive Vice President EMEA Industry. Most recently, he was Chief Operating Officer/Chief Business Officer for EMEA, MEE and Greater China, reporting directly to the SAP Executive Board. Prior to this, he spent three years at Lawson Software, a mid-market ERP provider, where he was Global Executive Vice President for Sales and Services for M3 Industries, and fourteen years at T-Systems Enterprise Services and gedas, two German-based IT system integrators. There he held various C-level positions, including CEO North Americas and Chairman Americas.

Friedrich Neumeyer, who has led the proAlpha Group as CEO since 2014, will leave the company. "Mr. Neumeyer has played a key role in shaping the company's success. We would like to thank him for his very valuable work and his extraordinary commitment. Together with the management team, he has put the company on a consistent growth path and significantly expanded its position in the DACH region," explains Duarte.
