80 percent B2B sales

Andreas Mühlbauer,

Conrad continues to grow

Conrad Electronic now generates 80% of its sales with business customers and has successfully developed from a traditional technology retailer into a B2B procurement platform. The company aims to become Europe's leading procurement platform for technical requirements.

Conrad's transformation is not only reflected in the figures, but also in its clear strategic focus on customer groups. Digitally Managed Customers (DMC) primarily buy via the online store, while Personally Managed Customers (PMC) rely on electronic system connections, customized e-procurement solutions and individual personal support. By adding two proven experts to the management team, Conrad is underlining its growth ambitions in these areas.

Continuing on the road to success and driving internationalization forward

"I am delighted to welcome Dr. Daniel Saga and Guy Dann to our midst. We will benefit greatly from their combined expertise to make us even more customer-oriented on our way to becoming Europe's leading procurement platform for technical requirements," says Ralf Bühler, CEO of Conrad Electronic, about the two new additions. With a portfolio of 10 million product offerings, customized e-procurement solutions and expert support, Conrad is already helping customers of all sizes and from all industries to save time and money when procuring technical supplies. Manufacturers and distributors reach new target groups and markets throughout Europe as sellers on the Conrad Marketplace. The expansion of the management team, which has included CFO Dr. Sebastian Dehnen since September 2022, is the logical next step to continue this successful course and further advance the internationalization of the Conrad Sourcing Platform.
