Vitronic will be showcasing various systems in the field of optical surface inspection. The Vinspec solutions work fully automatically and detect material and production-related defects on automotive parts.
A new addition to the Vinspec family is the further development of the internal inspection sensor for inspecting hard-to-access surfaces on the inside walls of cylinders. The sensor can also detect different processing levels over the entire surface. In addition to internal vision inspection, the Vinspec 3D Inline system solution for inspecting surfaces and geometric deviations on complex cast components in the production cycle and a 3D inspection solution for small component surfaces such as bearing blocks on engine blocks will also be presented at the trade fair stand. All inspection results, including data from external inspections, are fed into an integrated database for documentation and archiving, visualized and evaluated.
Another field of application for Vitronic is the quality inspection of surfaces and weld seams on batteries for electric and hybrid vehicles. Optical systems for weld seam testing in battery cells are essential in order to objectively verify compliance with the high requirements for each component. For the first time, the company is presenting this application together with the new generation of the Viro WSI weld seam inspection sensor. as
