Strategic partnership between Isra Vision and Perceptron
Atlas Copco acquires the technology company Perceptron. The company is thus further expanding its "Machine Vision Solutions" business area.
The first step in this machine vision strategy was the strategic partnership with Isra Vision in spring 2020. The combination of the two companies has now created a very well-positioned and powerful specialist for 3D machine vision and robot-based industrial automation.
Perceptron is a provider of automated 3D metrology solutions and coordinate measuring machines, and the combination of Isra Vision and Perceptron products creates a comprehensive portfolio for the automation of key applications along the entire automotive production line. At the same time, the companies expand their global market coverage for machine vision applications. The globally unique and advanced product portfolios are designed to complement each other.
The companies want to combine their technologies for the new generation of 3D products with the integration of Industry 4.0 standards - for in-line, at-line and off-line applications.
