Sensors for industrial automation

Sensory all-rounders

The new KNS capacitive standard sensors from di-soric detect solid, liquid, powdery, electrically conductive and non-conductive objects and substances alike - even through non-conductive container walls, barriers and packaging.

The sensors are housed in a robust stainless steel casing. Their sensitivity is easily adjustable via a potentiometer.

The capacitive proximity switches in the KNS series from di-soric are available with a diameter of 6.5 millimetres (flush/non-flush) and with the metric thread dimensions M8 (flush/non-flush) and M12 (flush only) in various installation forms. The capacitive KNS sensors have a large nominal switching distance (2 mm); the switching distance is set using a multi-turn potentiometer. The NO/NC function can be switched via the potentiometer.

Even under adverse and frequently changing environmental conditions, the robust sensors (available in protection classes IP 65 or IP 67) ensure high availability. They are used in almost all areas of mechanical and plant engineering and the automation industry. The compact sensors with push-pull output (pnp + npn), which can be installed quickly using cables and 3-pin plugs (M12: 4-pin), are supplied with a universal setting tool. Reliability and intuitive operation characterize the capacitive proximity switches from di-soric.
