Sensor+Test 2020 canceled
Like many other trade fairs, Sensor+Test will not be able to take place from June 23 to 25, 2020. The reason for this is the ongoing critical development and the existing risk situation due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Sensor+Test 2020 is now also affected by the ban on major events in the Free State of Bavaria until August 31, 2020. The team was committed to holding the event right up to the end. Ultimately, it is now unfortunately impossible to hold the event, explained organizer Holger Bödeker. This is an unfortunate decision, but it was made to protect the public and thus also in the interests of the health of all trade fair participants.
The two parallel conferences SMSI 2020 - Sensor and Measurement Science Internationaland ettc2020 European Test and Telemetry Conference cannot take place either. "Above all, we would like to thank the many exhibitors at Sensor+Test 2020 who hoped and fought for the trade fair with us until the very last day. Despite the global economic turmoil and coronavirus concerns, there were very few cancellations in the run-up to the event. A great vote of confidence, for which we are very grateful. Hall 1 and some themed and joint stands were already fully booked. This shows that the event continues to play an important role in companies' planning and schedules," says Holger Bödeker.
"See you at the next Sensor+Test from May 4 to 6, 2021 for the Innovation Dialogue! Stay healthy until then!" continues Bödeker. The trade fair will then take place together with SMSI 2021 - Sensor and Measurement International Conference and parallel to PCIM Europe and SMTconnect. as
