Quality assurance
Measurement technology along the production chain
Marposs will be presenting its broad product portfolio for quality assurance on two stands at this year's Control trade fair. While the versatile application possibilities of the leakage test will be presented in Hall 6, the main stand in Hall 3 will focus on hand-held measuring devices, optical measuring technology and various solutions for safe operator guidance during measurement.
This topic is increasingly being covered by digital offerings, which fits in with the complexity of current and future Industry 4.0 applications. Optical measurement technology is a key topic at Marposs. Optoflash is a measuring device that uses new technology to measure wave-shaped components particularly quickly. A 2D surface camera captures up to 100 inspection features such as diameters, distances or radii in just two seconds. In addition to manual loading, the loading of two Optoflash devices with a robot will also be demonstrated at Control.
Marposs offers manual measuring technology in a wide variety of forms and with numerous levels of user support. The range extends from measuring mandrels to radio measuring equipment and complex systems - virtually at every level from 0 to 100. Animated workpiece images are an example of the software-based operator support that is fully in line with the trend towards increasing digitalization summarized under Industry 4.0. A laser shows the operator the exact sequence of work steps and the corresponding measuring equipment on the workpiece. The step towards augmented reality is also illustrated using a measuring sequence. sw
