Leuze at the Logimat 2024
Material flow, but with safety!
Leuze is presenting solutions for greater efficiency in intralogistics at Logimat in Stuttgart. The trade fair package includes the most compact intralogistics positioning system, a safety barcode positioning system and a safety solution for access guarding at AGV transfer stations.
Increasing efficiency, higher speeds and maximum availability require intelligently networked systems and automated processes in intralogistics. Under the motto "Forever Forward. Together.", Leuze will be demonstrating at Logimat how the Sensor People can provide support here with sensor solutions. In addition to new products for intralogistics, Leuze will be presenting a new safety solution from its wide range of safety solutions.
The automation of positioning applications is becoming ever more flexible, and warehouse vehicles are becoming ever more compact. Leuze has developed the AMS 100i position sensor for this purpose: Thanks to the small design in combination with the small blind range of just 100 mm, Leuze offers the most compact laser positioning system on the market.
With the world's first safety barcode positioning system FBPS 600i, only one sensor is required for safe position detection. The device is connected via two SSI interfaces and is suitable for applications up to performance level e. This makes it easy to implement safety functions and reduces installation and service costs.
In addition to current safety products, Leuze is presenting another example of a safety solution: access guarding at robot/FTS transfer stations with the RSL 400 safety laser scanner. With this concept, Leuze is presenting a solution for smooth material flow and seamless safety.
