More functions in one device: With the new safety evaluators from Schmersal, the basic version SRB-E-302FWS-TS combines the safe standstill monitoring and safe timing relay functions in one component.
With safe standstill monitoring, the pulses of the connected sensors are monitored. By constantly comparing the input frequency (actual value) with the preset target value (standstill frequency), the device detects when the limit values are not reached and activates the safety outputs.
For rotating system components - for example drives, motors or shafts - with the same overrun times, the SRB-E-FWS-TS modules can also be used as safe timing relays, i.e. for the safe measurement of a preset time. Only after this preset time has elapsed is the control release given, which enables a safety guard to be opened.
The SRB-E-402FWS-TS variant also offers the option of monitoring a two-channel solenoid interlock with or without cross-wire detection. In the event of dangerous movements, the safety gate can be prevented from opening and the movement can be safely switched off using the second safety function. as
