New access manager

Solution with integrated power supply

The new MFC4800 from Digital Zeit offers sufficient memory capacity and space for two, four or eight access readers.

Thanks to the star-shaped cabling, the new access manager can be used to control the readers as well as to query door openers and door contacts. The access points are connected to the MFC4800 via an RS485 bus line. This RS485 bus line starts at the MFC4800 and ends at the respective reader. This reads the employee's badge and reports back the badge number. The device controls the relay for the door opener and the door is only opened if authorization is stored.

For doors that cannot be wired with a door opener, there is also the option of online access. A Voxio Touch access reader with radio module can be connected for this purpose, which forwards the release to a radio lock via radio. This means that even fire protection and listed doors can be approved and the data transmitted to the access manager in real time. Depending on requirements, up to eight access readers can be connected, each with two relays (16 relays in total) for controlling door openers, gates, etc. The MFC4800 access manager requires a network connection and a power supply (230 volts, 50 hertz). dsc
