The focus will be on solutions for access management and the safeguarding of mobile machinery and their danger zones. Visitors to the Pilz stand will experience how driverless transport systems can be safely automated and operated, taking into account all spatial and infrastructural conditions. Innovations from the area of operation and monitoring for identification and access management as well as innovative functional features for the PSENopt II safety light curtains are further focal points of the trade fair.

There is also an anniversary: 20 years ago, Pilz presented its small controller PNOZmulti in Nuremberg - "wiring with a mouse" was a pioneering innovation at the time. What was new was the ability to create the safety circuit using an easy-to-use, graphics-based configuration tool - without knowledge of a higher programming language. This closed the gap between hard-wired safety switching devices and freely programmable safety controllers.

Today, visitors to the Pilz trade fair in Nuremberg can find out about new features with regard to the configurable small controller PNOZmulti 2: A new "Power" base unit and the integration of security are now available in the product family. With a width of just 22.5 mm, the slim standalone base unit PNOZ m C0 has the structural characteristics of a safety relay and is as powerful as a configurable safety controller.
