New flat gearbox from ABM Greiffenberger scores points in conveyor technology
The new FGA 172/173 offset gearbox from ABM Greiffenberger meets the high demands placed on conveyor systems in intralogistics. The drive is compact, works very efficiently and impresses with its long operating times.
The flat gearbox permanently transmits torques of up to 170 Nm and is particularly suitable for use in conveyor technology, e.g. as a drive for chain conveyors, conveyor belts, turntables and vertical conveyors. ABM manufactures the high-quality helical gearing and the lightweight yet robust aluminum housing in-house.
The new variant in the flat gearbox series is also equipped with a variety of mounting options. This means that users are very flexible when it comes to mounting. The FGA 172/173 can be easily combined with three-phase asynchronous motors as well as SINOCHRON® motors from ABM Greiffenberger.
The 172/173 variant impresses with its excellent efficiency, can be overloaded and is particularly powerful. The low-noise flat gearbox is available in two- and three-stage versions. In addition to conveyor logistics, it is also suitable for use as a crane travel drive.
