The task of generating a distinguishing feature at the POS was implemented here simply but extremely effectively and staged in an exciting way. The award-winning submission reflects the emotions of the product, a multisport watch. The cardboard packaging is aimed at the active target group of mountain bikers, mountaineers, skiers, hikers and climbers. The topography of the intended location was taken up in the shape and design, and so the packaging goes uphill and downhill over several levels directly at the POS and during the subsequent unboxing, as the packaging is reminiscent of a valley landscape that invites exploration, investigation and discovery, which is also conveyed in the inlay. Banderoles printed in different colors are also used to differentiate the wristbands of the sports watches with identical folding boxes. The overall concept and the clear, differentiating brand message at the POS convinced the jury with this solution.
