Transport packaging for car side panels

The previous capacity of the packaging was limited to 6 parts per packaging (18 parts per container) due to the protruding rear wheel housing of the side wall.

A significantly increased cargo space utilization of 36 parts per container is made possible by arranging the parts diagonally upwards.

The footprint of the packaging (length 3.32 m x width 2.26 m) has remained unchanged. Only the height has increased from 1.5 m to 2.1 m.

Container utilization for overseas transport has thus been increased by 100%.

This results in CO2 and transport cost savings of 50%.
