Extraction and filter system

Mara Hofacker,

Filter harmful gases and vapors

With the ACD 1200, ULT offers an effective extraction and filter system that removes hazardous air pollutants from the ambient air.

The system, which is available in three different performance levels with volume flows of between 1,000 and 1,500 m³/h, can be used in both stationary and mobile applications. Gluing processes in particular are increasingly being used in the manufacturing industry. The ACD 1200 is suitable for extracting vapors, gases and odors that arise during gluing, for example, but also during laminating, painting, casting or cleaning.

Air pollutants that are hazardous to health are captured directly at the point of origin via capture elements (extraction arms, hoses, etc.) and filtered by the ACD 1200. The combination of a coarse dust pre-filter in accordance with DIN EN 779 and two adsorption filters (activated carbon) ensures a high separation rate of harmful emissions. The filtered air can be fed back into the work area after the cleaning process.

The extraction and filter system from ULT offers a robust design and can be used at different workstations thanks to its pre-assembled device castors. A digital device control can be integrated as an option. Automated operation with external production or processing machines is also possible. The system is also available as an Ex version for flammable air/gas mixtures.
