ACD Elektronik was an exhibitor at the VDI Automation Congress in Baden-Baden, where it also presented its M2Smart HMI series.
The automation congress VDI Kongress Automation focuses on the exchange of experience and ideas, the discussion of innovations and the opportunity to make new contacts. ACD Elektronik took the opportunity to present the HMIs of the M2Smart HMI series to the specialist audience as part of the accompanying trade exhibition.
The VDI Wissensforum has been hosting the leading congress for measurement and automation technology since 1990. The VDI Congress Automation offers a broad program of different specialist presentations from various areas of the industry. Experts from science, specialists and managers as well as users and manufacturers of measurement and automation technology meet here to discuss the latest innovations, developments and trends in automation. In addition to a large number of exciting specialist presentations, the VDI Congress also includes an accompanying trade exhibition at which selected companies present various products and innovations from the field of automation to the specialist audience at the VDI Congress.
ACD Elektronik presented the mobile and modular M2Smart HMI at this trade exhibition. The touch-based devices in the M2Smart HMI series are mobile and wireless, making them suitable for operating multiple machines, including different machines. The devices also have a modular design, which, in conjunction with the absence of a cable, opens up many different application options and scenarios. The necessary data security when using the M2Smart HMIs is ensured by the in-house and secure Android Industrial+ operating system and the transmission of sensitive data via the black channel method. The devices in the M2Smart HMI series are available as 10-inch devices in tablet form factor and as 5-inch devices in smartphone form factor.
