Schubert: Companies for new business models
Gerald and Ralf Schubert have founded Schubert Business Development. The brothers are thus opening a new chapter in strategic business development.
While Gerhard Schubert GmbH is primarily known in the field of modular packaging machines, the new company, which is independent of Schubert GmbH, aims to identify market trends and opportunities and to promote and develop innovations for various industries. Partnerships and participations with companies in the packaging environment are also to be pursued. In addition to the shareholders Ralf and Gerald Schubert, Peter Gabriel, who manages the newly founded company together with Gerald Schubert, is also at the helm.
"We will develop new business models with existing partners in the packaging industry and also explore completely new avenues in order to diversify our current business in the packaging industry," explains company founder Gerald Schubert. "Strategic collaborations with partners will be considered as well as investments or acquisitions of start-up companies."
According to Peter Gabriel, the approach is therefore clearly "more than just a think tank for modern production-oriented companies". Schubert Business Development supports and promotes start-ups - analytically, with ideas and also financially. It not only looks after start-ups, but also promotes investments in and the acquisition of existing companies.
Whether sustainable production processes in mechanical and plant engineering, digitalization and innovative solutions in the field of automation - "in all these areas, we see a need for experts who are not only deeply familiar with the subject matter, but who can also promote creativity in the right place and correctly assess markets," says Gerald Schubert.
In addition, Schubert Business Development aims to facilitate collaborations that were previously not possible due to industry constraints. The company owners are therefore not only talking about an exciting new task, but also about an investment in the future, including for Gerhard Schubert GmbH.
