Sales network expanded

Riwal expands: New depots in Europe

Riwal, a full-service rental company for aerial work platforms and telescopic forklifts, is expanding further in Europe and opening four new depots in the UK, France, the Netherlands and Croatia.

Hemel Hempstead is strategically located in the north of London. The new depot location offers immediate access to the national highway network with direct access to the ring road that surrounds Greater London. This facilitates the transportation of machines to and from London, Heathrow and Stanstead airports and Birmingham. The M1 north-south highway can be reached in two minutes, providing access to Birmingham and the Midlands in less than two hours. According to the company, the new depot reflects Riwal's ecological focus, for example by collecting rainwater and using solar energy.

Paris (Ecquevilly), France
Ecquevilly, a town west of Paris, is strategically located to serve customers in the Île de France region. This region, which includes Paris and the surrounding suburbs, has an increasing customer demand for electrical access technology. Riwal now has three depots in this region with a fleet of around 1,000 machines. In addition, the new depot is certified to provide CACES training. Here, operators can learn how to use aerial work platforms and telehandlers safely and complete various other safety training courses.

Zwolle, Netherlands
Riwal is opening another branch in its home country of Zwolle in the north-east of the Netherlands. The city's central location is ideal for increasing the company's presence in an area that was previously not covered by a local depot. In addition, this region has an attractive labor market with qualified skilled workers who will secure the depot's human resources. The depot is being built with sustainability in mind and will not use any gas, for example.

Rijeka, Croatia
Rijeka is the third largest city in Croatia and has an important seaport on the Kvarner Bay, which is easily accessible from the new location. Important industries in the region are involved in maritime transport, shipbuilding and the development of the port expansion. The new location will enable Riwal to provide these companies with customized machines quickly and reliably. The depot is also close to the highway to Zagreb, which makes it easier to transport machines inland. As this depot is centrally located in Croatia, both the delivery time for machines and transportation costs should be reduced.

Pedro Torres, CEO, comments: "By opening new depots in Europe, we can offer our customers even more convenient access solutions. By being closer to our customers, we can improve our response times and provide machines more quickly. Our customers benefit from this in that they can carry out their projects at height more efficiently. All of this supports us in our efforts to provide customers with the best service they can get in our industry." as
