Hubtex: Electric heavy-duty compact forklift truck
Hubtex has launched the new Roxx heavy-duty compact forklift with electric drive. It is a more compact alternative to the classic heavy-duty front loader and enables efficient handling of loads between eight and 30 tons in confined spaces.
Front loaders are often used to transport heavy loads in particular. However, these vehicles quickly reach their limits in confined spaces due to their length. Hubtex has developed the Roxx range of heavy-duty compact forklift trucks as a robust and maneuverable alternative. The development is based on a cooperation between Hubtex and Dimos. The aim was to bring compact forklifts back into the Hubtex portfolio - in a purely electric version.
The original plan was to present the forklift at Logimat 2020. It enables efficient handling of loads between eight and 30 tons in the tightest of spaces. The Roxx is more compact than conventional front loaders: 20 percent shorter and up to 25 percent narrower. Users can also choose from different steering systems. The patented single-wheel steering system, for example, reduces the turning circle by 50 percent. The lift mast is available in three versions.
