Workshops and web application
Corona crisis: InSystems expands online offerings
The measures against the coronavirus are currently making face-to-face communication difficult. InSystems is therefore focusing on online offerings: with workshops and a new web application, AGV projects can be prepared and implemented more quickly after the coronavirus crisis.
The worldwide restrictions and protective measures in the private and professional environment due to the corona pandemic are necessary because they save lives. They mean that many familiar everyday processes have to be reconsidered. This includes, for example, personal advice on the specification of automated guided vehicles (AGVs), which InSystems is now facilitating with online workshops.
In the workshops, experts and project managers will answer technical, logistical, commercial and legal questions relating to the use of transport robots. The time that many people currently have to spend working from home can therefore be used to coordinate their own AGV projects in order to convert the material flow process in production as quickly as possible after the coronavirus pandemic.
The digital specification sheet
InSystems has developed the myANTon web application for interested parties who are already planning a driverless transport system and want to compile the requirements for a request for quotation. This guides users through a series of specific questions to their individual specifications. The specification sheet not only defines the vehicle via the load, but also takes into account many requirements relating to processes, operating environment, safety and interfaces to existing systems for the overall integration.
Once the information has been collected, InSystems can estimate which vehicle is suitable, how many are needed in the fleet and the approximate cost of integration. This usually results in a budget offer that the interested party can use to estimate the investment. as
