Stephan Weiner,

Scalable infrastructure automation solutions

Saia-Burgess Controls (SBC) will be presenting flexible and scalable building and infrastructure automation solutions for a wide range of requirements at Light + Building in Frankfurt. The 60m2 stand of the Swiss automation company will be dedicated to the anniversary of Saia PCD controllers: the manufacturer produced the first programmable controllers in 1978. This made the company one of the pioneers of PLC technology and in 2018 it can look back on 40 years of experience and innovation in this field.

According to the manufacturer, visualization, interaction, monitoring and reporting are bundled in one program.

At the trade fair, the focus will be on the scalable Scada solution Saia PCD Supervisor and the new freely programmable room controller for individual applications. As a scalable Scada solution, the Saia PCD Supervisor is suitable for simple HVAC room controls, but also for control stations in larger building complexes and multi-site systems, according to the manufacturer. Thanks to open communication standards, third-party systems can also be integrated. Visualization, interaction, monitoring and reporting are bundled in just one program, so that the important key figures are always in view and any problems or faults are quickly detected. In addition, individually required data can be compiled on a personal dashboard. This provides a quick overview and a high level of user convenience. The Saia PCD Supervisor can be conveniently operated via a standard web browser on PCs, tablets or smartphones.
