The system under control

Seos technology reduces vibrations from storage and retrieval machines and thus enables a higher storage throughput in high-bay warehouses, as high acceleration values are achieved without increasing material stress and wear.

The intelligent control system prevents mechanical overloading and thus prevents hairline cracks at the base of the mast in particular. The technology was put into operation by several customers in 2017 and now runs on all common drive systems. In addition to equipping new systems, integrating the Seos software into existing systems is a cost-effective alternative to expanding the high-bay warehouse.

With the Seos-Calculator, the company is launching a new product on the market. "Our vision is to make Seos a complete solution for storage and retrieval machines. The Calculator is the final step in this direction," explains Dr. Benjamin Berger, Head of Intralogistics Systems. Most products for the development and operation of RGBs only cover one area at a time: "There are programs for the design of SRMs and there are also separate tools for controller parameterization and vibration reduction. The Calculator makes all of this possible in just one single piece of software," continues Berger. This means that every Seos user has complete control over the entire system. as
