Actuators with CANopen interface

At Logimat, Linak is presenting an adjustment drive with a brushless drive. © Linak

Linak is also equipping its positioning drives with the new CANopen interface for Logimat.

This enables a bi-directional data flow between the actuator and system without the need for additional interfaces. Data such as power consumption and load profiles can be used for predictive maintenance, for example. Another new feature is an IO-Link interface. This allows the actuators to exchange data with an automation system. This is based on the IEC 61131-9 standard.

In addition to the new interfaces, Linak will also be presenting a new motor technology at Logimat in Stuttgart. With the rapidly growing market for driverless transport systems, the demands on the service life of the drives are also increasing. Linak will be presenting a drive with a brushless motor. This technology increases the service life many times over compared to a drive with a brush motor.

Linak presents further innovations with the use of 48-volt technology. dsc
