Starting the digital transformation
Aras is now offering a PLM Quick Starter. Based on the company's own Innovator software, the new product is designed to support companies in the manufacturing industry in establishing a holistic process across the various stages of the product lifecycle and thus a continuous flow of information from the initial product idea through to operations. Among other things, this enables companies to realize the so-called "Digital Thread" and ensure complete transparency in their product development process. The management consultancy Bearing Point supports the development of the product throughout its entire life cycle.
According to the manufacturer, ECM can be used to map product change processes with the associated workflows and release cycles in various departments. The MPP module is designed to implement the interfaces between development and production without interruptions. Thanks to an automatic synchronization function, process plans for production, parts lists and work instructions, for example, can be created in parallel. According to the manufacturer, ECM or MPP can therefore be used to offer individual solutions tailored to the customer, which can also be implemented at short notice. sw
