System provider Rittal is showcasing its new compact enclosures and small enclosures at the Hannover Messe 2019. Plant manufacturers can benefit from new functions that simplify and accelerate value creation processes and make them more flexible and secure. Rittal has built a new plant in Haiger in central Hesse for the production of the new compact enclosures. At the trade fair stand, visitors will learn how networked production works and how they can use the digital process chain to their advantage.

Using the example of enclosure wiring, Rittal and its subsidiary Eplan will be demonstrating how the product manufacturing process can be optimized. In the field of power distribution, Rittal will be presenting the new VX25 Ri4Power development. Based on the new VX25 baying enclosure system, VX25 Ri4Power is an individual system for the construction of type-tested low-voltage switchgear and offers advantages such as high efficiency or process benefits thanks to high data availability and easy configuration with the new "Rittal Power Engineering" software. Industrial Intelligence makes it possible to continuously optimize operating states or reliably predict faults and malfunctions on the basis of data and algorithms.

Five Edge Data Centers in typical industry applications will be on display at the stand. These include the "Intelligent Edge Data Center" IEDC, which was designed in collaboration with Atos and Siemens. The IEDC collects data within an Industry 4.0 production site. The collection of data from industrial cooling units in application scenarios will be shown as an example at the trade fair.
