NXP presents a Wi-Fi-6 (802.11ax) portfolio that opens up product groups and markets for the new Wi-Fi standard.
The portfolio is designed to help enable innovation in connectivity in the automotive, security, mobile, industrial and IoT markets.
Wi-Fi 6 offers many improvements, including symmetrical multi-gigabit uploads and downloads, lower latency, higher capacity and better energy efficiency. With NXP's offering, these benefits are now available for large-scale deployment in numerous markets. Current Wi-Fi capabilities include up to a four-fold improvement in performance, longer range, improved battery life and greater connection reliability.
