Ultra-compact industrial PC for direct machine integration

The C7015 ultra-compact industrial PC is a fully IP 65/67 industrial PC for direct installation on the machine or system. This provides a decentralized, installable edge device with high multi-core computing power.

Measuring 85 x 167 x 43 millimetres, the C7015 ultra-compact industrial PC is a cost-effective yet powerful IP 65/67 device for on-site installation in the field. As a space-saving, fanless computer, it is universally suitable for high-performance automation, visualization and communication. Its applications range from classic machine control to decentralized edge devices in modern Industry 4.0 concepts.

The C7015 is equipped with a powerful Intel Atom multi-core CPU with up to four processor cores. Compared to conventional ARM-based edge devices, this also enables more complex applications as well as decentralized data pre-processing and the acquisition of large amounts of data.

The device version with IP 65/67 protection is another special feature that makes the C7015 ideal for modern edge applications, even in harsh machine environments.

Decentralized machine control with EtherCAT P
The IP-65/67-IPC is also suitable as a highly functional machine controller. Valuable control cabinet space can be saved by mounting it directly in the field. This applies in particular in conjunction with other Beckhoff components with a high degree of protection, such as the AMP8000 decentralized servo drive system and the EtherCAT P I/O modules from the EPP series. In this way, the machine concept can be simplified and the cost of subsequent system expansions - the addition of energy data acquisition - can be minimized.

The integrated Ethercat P connection of the C7015 opens up new possibilities for a sensor/actuator connection via the IP 67-protected EPP modules. This means that even complex diagnostic or condition monitoring tasks can be solved decentrally and with minimal installation effort. A special mounting plate for the direct attachment of an EPP module to the C7015 is available for this purpose. If required, additional EPP modules can be flexibly connected via Ethercat P to suit the application. as
