Häwa, the quality supplier of electrical enclosures and control cabinets, opened its first branch in Duisburg in 1970. In 2020, the site is celebrating its 50th anniversary - and has now managed to exceed the ten million euro turnover mark for the first time. "This is a tremendous success," says branch manager Sebastian Gebhardt, "and it shows that Häwa's close proximity to its customers is paying off."

16 employees work in sales and logistics at the Duisburg branch, and industrial clerks are also trained every year. Customers in northern and western Germany are served from Duisburg. Technical sales representatives based in Schleswig-Holstein, Hamburg and Lower Saxony ensure direct local service and short distances for assembly, equipment and ordering.

Thanks to the large storage capacities in Duisburg, customers have the option of concluding framework agreements with Häwa, under which the products can be prefabricated and delivered at short notice as required. as
