There was applause at two celebratory events that the Friedhelm Loh Group held at Rittal in Herborn in honor of its junior staff: the graduation ceremony for students at the end of July and the presentation of certificates for commercial and industrial trainees. Rittal CEO Dr. Karl-Ulrich Köhler congratulated the 16 Studium Plus students and CFO Andreas Huck also congratulated the 20 journeymen and commercial trainees.

In addition to celebratory words, both events had one thing in common - namely the good news: "Every one of us who wanted a job in the Group got one," reported student spokesperson Christian Droß at the graduation ceremony. "Skilled workers are more in demand than ever. With your studies, you have laid an important foundation for your own future and that of the Group," Dr. Köhler told the young talents.

With their degree in hand, the career of the trainees in the Friedhelm Loh Group continues. Most of them have found a permanent position at Rittal, Loh Services, Stahlo, LKH or Cideon. © Friedhelm Loh Group

Well trained for the job
Most of the 20 trainees have also found a permanent position at Rittal, Loh Services, Stahlo, LKH or Cideon. All of them were allowed to stay - a few decided to continue their studies or change jobs. Among the trainees, the certificates were something very special for Guled Wali Adan and Solomun Maekele Gebregszabher. The two young men had qualified for an apprenticeship at Rittal as part of the refugee initiative. They passed their examination to become machine and plant operators at the first attempt and are now trained specialists. When asked what particularly helped them to settle in and learn, the answer comes without thinking: the collegial cooperation!

"Even if you are just at the beginning of your career, don't be afraid to contribute your own ideas," appealed Andreas Huck, Managing Director at Loh Services and CFO of the Friedhelm Loh Group, at the presentation of the apprentices' certificates. The newly qualified industrial clerks, IT specialists, technical journeymen and warehouse logistics specialists should not allow themselves to be held back. Regina Mundel, Head of Human Resources Development, explained that junior staff are important for the future of the Friedhelm Loh Group. "With a good education, you have laid the foundation for this." as
