Aries Embedded presents its new C-Vision kit.
The kit is a design platform for industrial applications with embedded vision and artificial intelligence. It enables the processing and evaluation of image data. For this purpose, the FPGA development board MCVEVP was expanded to include two dart cameras from Basler, an adapter card and an AI accelerator card.
The Cyclone V SoC serves as the FPGA, as the ARM architecture can also be used decentrally with defined resources. It offers great flexibility to connect and control many different sensors and actuators. The core of the C-Vision kit is the MCV SoM on the MCVEVP board, which can be expanded with a 7" TFT display and capacitive touchscreen. Two cameras, a miniPCIe card, the Vision Processing Unit and a monitor can be connected via the C-Vision adapter.
